Your new role In this exciting new role, you will be:Managing and mentoring a team of four IT professionals.Overseeing daily IT service delivery across infrastructure, telephony, AV, and end-user support.Leading incident management, with a focus on root cause analysis and problem resolution.Driving continuous improvement initiatives and service level optimisation.Managing relationships with external stakeholders and ensuring adherence to SLAs.Implementing IT service management policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.Supporting service design and transition for new or updated IT services.Contributing to IT Strategy and planning as part of the broader IT leadership team. What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in your application, you will need:Proven experience in an IT service delivery management / leadership role within the Government sector (ideally State Government).Strong working knowledge of ServiceNow, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 technologies.Experience operating in a shared IT services environment.A tertiary education in Information Technology, alongside Microsoft, Azure and ITIL certifications are highly regarded.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to lead through change and complexity.
