As an IT Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping and maintaining a secure, efficient, and scalable technology environment for our organization.The Impact You Will Have:Own the end-to-end hardware lifecycle for both macOS and Windows, from procurement, setup, inventory, and asset tagging, and secure disposal of laptops and peripherals. Manage and maintain fleet management software to ensure all company devices are secure, compliant, and up-to-date. Oversee Google Workspace configuration, including user permissions, group management, and access controls. Automate onboarding and offboarding workflows to ensure consistent, secure access across systems from day one. Set up and manage permission automation across key internal tools such as Slack, Notion, Google Drive, and others. Contribute to building and maintaining a secure IT environment aligned with SOC 2 Type 2 readiness (experience here is a strong plus). Improve internal operational efficiency by driving scalable, automated solutions across our technology stack. Manage vendors and purchasing by obtaining quotes, placing orders, negotiating corporate discounts, and managing the IT hardware and SaaS budgets. Required Experience:Experience (3 years) with hardware procurement and security setupFleet Management software for both Mac and WindowsGoogle Workspace permissions and configuration managementOnboarding / offboarding permission automationManaging group setup and permission automation for multiple internal software tools (e.g., Slack, Notion, Google Drive, etc.)Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to users and other IT personnelAdvanced problem-solving skills, going beyond basic troubleshooting to resolve technical issuesProvide a positive user experience and communicate solutions effectivelyAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and handle multiple complex tasks efficientlyPreferred Experience:SOC2 Type 2 Audit readiness big plusEducation:Bachelor’s Degree in an information technology-related field is preferred.
