Job Description

We're looking for someone to join our small but mighty IT team, who will be ready to put their creative problem solving into action.About the roleThis role is permanent, full-time work based in Porirua.Reporting to the Principal Advisor – Data & Digital, the IT Support role provides frontline support to manage day-to-day queries, resolving or escalating where appropriate. We’re tackling complexity head-on: 400+ scenarios, and you’ll help make them simpler, more efficient and consistent.Duties include, but are not limited to: Daily monitoring of the IT Support inbox, responding to or reallocating queries promptlyMaintain positive working relationships with vendors and liaise with them to achieve required services and technology suppliesManage the prompt distribution and collection of IT equipment and phones for staff and maintain a register of all IT equipmentIdentify and escalate technical issues where appropriateAbout youThe ideal candidate will have relevant and recent IT Support experience, with a ‘can-do’ attitude and eagerness to learn, along with the following:Excellent time management and ability to manage conflicting prioritiesExperience troubleshooting computer, internet connection and communications issuesAutonomous, resourceful, and innovative, and able to work within a teamAn understanding of Microsoft SharePoint and Teams would be advantageousConfident in use of IT and experience in using Microsoft Windows and Office 365, especially ExcelProven relationship management skills across a range of stakeholdersExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills, both oral and writtenBenefitsOpportunities to develop your career in a supportive team environmentOpportunities to be involved with designing and implementing a roadmap that transforms the way we deliver ECE services in the not-for-profit sectorNearly 85 years strong, and still shaping the future for tamariki.
