As SAP Technical Lead, you will guide the technical delivery, architecture, and evolution of DOC’s SAP ecosystem keeping it robust, future-focused, and aligned with our mission to sustain nature for generations.This senior, hands-on role leads the Development, Basis, and Testing functions, ensuring high-quality SAP solutions and building long-term internal capability.Key responsibilities:Provide senior technical leadership and act as the authority on SAP architecture, design, and development standards.Lead the design and delivery of complex SAP solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and strategic priorities.Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions, overseeing advanced ABAP development and WRICEF objects.Design system integrations, data migrations, and application interfaces that ensure performance and quality.Mentor SAP technical specialists and foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.Collaborate with Functional Leads, SAP Specialists, and vendors to manage dependencies and deliver high-quality outcomes.Drive innovation, resolve complex technical issues, and assess emerging SAP technologies.Lead technical discussions, proofs of concept, and knowledge-sharing to support DOC’s conservation mission.Click here for the Role DescriptionNgā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experienceWe are looking for a seasoned SAP technical leader with a passion for building high-quality, future-focused solutions that enable DOC’s conservation mission.You will also have;Advanced ABAP (OO, performance optimisation) with proven experience across IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, web services, data migration, ETL, and enterprise integrations. .Solid understanding of Finance, EAM, MM and SAP Cloud Products and Tools.,.Experienced in leading and mentoring technical teams, making sound technology design decisions, and managing complex stakeholder environments.Skilled with S/4HANA, Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, cloud integration, DevOps, CI/CD, agile delivery, and SAP Clean Core Standards.
