Your expertise will directly support the development, configuration, and testing of next-generation IT solutions. Your contributions will impact project delivery timelines and quality, reinforcing HCLTech's leadership in driving technological advancement for global clients.Detailed ResponsibilitiesHardware & Lab SupportAssemble, upgrade, and maintain hardware systems to meet lab requirements.Populate and configure storage devices within Devices Under Test (DUTs).Prepare and deploy BIOS/IFWI images and update Board Known Configurations (BKCs).Manage and track lab inventory, ensuring hardware readiness and availability.Network & InfrastructureConfigure, administer, and troubleshoot network switches and related infrastructure.Support and maintain IPv4/IPv6, DNS, DHCP, and SNMP configurations.Ensure stable and secure remote access channels for lab personnel.Design and set up complex network topologies for testing scenarios.Lab Maintenance & SupportInstall operating systems (Windows & Linux) via MDT, WDS, PXE, and perform system re-imaging as required.Set up and support power measurement tools (DAQ, PowerMeter) for performance testing.Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain high lab uptime and efficiency.Skill RequirementsMinimum of 3 years’ experience in a lab or hardware technician role within an enterprise IT environment.Proven hands-on expertise in assembling hardware systems and replacing components.Strong understanding of basic networking concepts, including IPv4/IPv6, DHCP, DNS.Proficiency with installation and configuration of Windows and Linux operating systems.Familiarity with BIOS configuration and firmware deployment.Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field.Other Requirements (Optional)Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent are highly desirable.Experience with automation tools for system provisioning and network management is an advantage.Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to team projects.Beneficial package:Life insurancePrivate medical careMultiSport CardSubsidy for glassesSubsidy to language coursesChristmas and holiday bonusesThe driving force behind that work, our people are diverse, creative, and passionate, raising the bar for excellence on a regular basis.
