Java & Python Developer (with GCP experience)

ABOUT THE JOBDesign, build, and maintain backend services using Java and Python.Develop and deploy applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) with a strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical requirements.Integrate AI-powered code assistance tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Gemini CLI) into the development lifecycle to enhance productivity and code quality.Implement and advocate for best practices in coding, testing, continuous integration, and deployment.Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot backend services to ensure resilience and high availability.Contribute to innovation initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.ABOUT YOUAt least 4 years of professional experience in backend development.Strong programming skills in both Java and Python.Proven experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services is preferred.Familiarity with AI-driven developer tools and genuine interest in driving innovation.Solid understanding of software engineering principles (design patterns, APIs, microservices architecture).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.Strong problem-solving skills, proactive communication, and ability to work effectively in a multicultural, international environment.WHY AMARIS?At Amaris Consulting, we believe in creating a thriving, positive workplace where every team member can grow, connect, and make a real impact.
