By providing fresh, precise data, Cyclomedia helps create safer, greener, more accessible, and smarter cities while enabling significant impact for its clients.Role DescriptionJunior Account Manager — Telco (DACH)Reports to: Vertical Sales Manager, Telco Location: Germany (remote or Düsseldorf office) • Travel across DACH Function: New Business (hunting) with selective farming on named wins Market Context: ~150 addressable Telco providers in DACH (≈120 Germany; remainder Switzerland & Austria). Germany targets ~50M households to FTTH by 2030—massive expansion runway.Role PurposeBe the catalyst for new Telco logos and fast pipeline creation. You will prospect into broadband / fiber expansion providers, craft sharp use-case narratives around Cyclomedia’s imagery and data insights, and move opportunities from first contact to qualified, demo/POC-ready stages. Expect high activity, travel, and creative problem-solving—this is a hunter seat.What You’ll Drive1) Territory & Hunting ExecutionPrioritize target list across ~150 DACH Telcos (focus Germany, then CH/AT) with weekly outreach sprints.Build first-meetings with buying centers (Network Planning/Rollout, GIS/Geo, Outside Plant/Field Ops, Broadband Program Leads, Procurement).Craft bite-size value stories tied to fiber build: faster route feasibility, permit prep, asset verification, surface type analysis for trenching, address validation for sales ops.2) Opportunity ShapingRun structured discovery; document problem, impact, stakeholders, timeline, and risks.Create crisp Opportunity Briefs and book solution demos/POCs with Pre-Sales (success criteria, test areas, acceptance steps).Keep Dynamics spotless: notes, next steps, contacts, stage reasons—no “mystery deals.”3) Tender / RFP AssistanceMaintain tender trackers (milestones, clarifications, submission packs).Coordinate with Legal/Finance on guardrails (pricing, terms, DPAs/SLAs); prep standard annexes and forms.Support competitive/auction formats with disciplined update cadence.4) Customer Momentum & HandoffsFor early wins, prepare onboarding runbooks (stakeholders, training, first-value checkpoints).Surface cross/upsell signals (additional regions, more frequent capture, insights modules) and hand to Senior AM/VSM.5) Market IntelligenceGather competitive moves, pilot needs, and coverage gaps; feed structured notes to VSM, Pre-Sales, Product/BD.What Makes You a FitHunter mentality: high outbound energy, resilient, thrives on travel and in-person meetings; creative angles to open doors.Dynamic & curious: you learn the Telco build/operate workflows quickly and translate them into use-case value.Contacts welcome: an existing network in Telco (operators, FiberCos, service providers, MVNOs, TowerCos) is a strong plus.Process discipline: you love clean CRM, tight notes, and clear next steps.Languages: German business-native; strong English for documentation and vendor interactions.Experience: 1–3 years in B2B (sales/SDR/AM or pre-sales). Telco, GIS/geo, network, infrastructure, or SaaS/data background is a plus.How You’ll Work (Operating Cadence)Weekly: target list refresh (Germany-first), outreach summary, booked meetings, updated Opportunity Briefs.Bi-weekly: deal board inputs (risks, help needed, demo/POC asks), tender tracker updates.Monthly: named-account snapshots (stakeholder map, use cases, value hypothesis), event follow-ups, partner-intro plan.Tools & CollaborationTools: Dynamics CRM, tender portals, standard office suite, project trackers.Teaming: Pre-Sales (demos/POCs), Operations/Delivery (coverage & feasibility), Legal/Finance (commercials), Marketing/Alliances (campaigns, references).Career PathClear runway to Account Manager (Telco) once you consistently originate, shape, and progress deals, run smaller tenders with light oversight, and demonstrate reliable forecast inputs
