Join us under the Roes Advisory banner and contribute to high-impact deals in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Job descriptionWe are seeking a motivated (Junior) associate with 1-3 years of relevant professional experience to join our team on an initial freelance basis, with the opportunity to transition to a permanent role based on performance and mutual fit. You will work closely with the founder and external specialists to support M&A executions, incentive plan implementations, and corporate counsels. This role offers hands-on exposure to cross-border transactions, ideal for a junior professional looking to build a career in specialized corporate advisory. The position is based in the Netherlands (with flexibility for remote/hybrid work). Key responsibilitiesAssist in the execution of M&A transactions.Contribute to the design, implementation, and administration of management equity and incentive plans.Provide corporate and interim counsel support, advising on compliance matters, contract negotiations, and corporate governance.Coordinate with external advisors (e.g., tax, financial) to ensure efficient transaction management and risk mitigation. RequirementsExperience: 1-3 years of relevant professional experience, ideally gained at a large law firm in corporate M&A and/or incentive plans.Background preference: Preferably combined with in-house experience at a corporate client, private equity firm, or portfolio company to demonstrate practical application of advisory skills.Education: A relevant law degree (LLM or equivalent).Skills: Strong analytical skills and familiarity with deal documentation.Language: Excellent command of English (written and spoken); Dutch proficiency is advantageous for local engagements.Profile: Proactive, detail-oriented person with a passion for M&A and the ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting.Availability: Start on a freelance basis, with flexibility for at least 20 hours per week initially. What we offerDirect impact & exposure: Immediate involvement in live transactions, reporting directly to the founder.Career pathway: Pathway to a permanent role, including benefits such as professional development opportunities and performance-based incentives.Compensation: Competitive rates commensurate with experience.Culture: Flexible working arrangements in a supportive, non-hierarchical culture that values initiative and work-life balance.Expertise: Opportunity to gain deep expertise in M&A and incentive plans. How to applyIf you are a driven junior professional eager to make an impact under the Roes Advisory flag, we would love to hear from you.
