If you love crafting clean, clever copy, you’ll fit right in.What you’ll bringWe’re looking for a Junior Copywriter with a passion for pooches to dive into this exciting role! Our ideal candidate has a fun and engaging writing style - with the ability to simplify scientific information, to help educate pet parents about their dog’s nutrition and wellbeing. The business is remote first and run by an ever-growing, talented team. This role sits within the Brand team, and will report to the Communications Lead.What you’ll do:Writing multi-channel copy across email, web banners, blogs, social and more.Producing informative, engaging blog content that supports our SEO goals.Collaborating with the SEO Content Manager on large and small scale projects.Optimising copy for search without sacrificing tone or clarity.Bringing campaigns to life with messaging that champions our tone of voice.Supporting the wider business with day-to-day copy needs.Working closely with designers to pair words with scroll-stopping visuals.Keeping our tone consistent, friendly, and helpful across every touchpoint.What you’ll bring: Experience writing multi-channel copy (email, banners, blogs, etc.).A basic understanding of SEO principles.Confidence in following and adapting to a clear brand tone of voice.A natural eye for clarity, flow and brand voice.Curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn fast.Great attention to detail.Ability to collaborate and work well in a team.Excellent organisational skills.A love of dogs!Requirements:Early-career copywriter with 0–2 years’ experience.A personal interest in health, wellness (and pooches!) would be beneficial.Benefits:Remote first workingRegular team/business away daysPrivate health insurance20 days holiday a year + Bank Holidays + Christmas shutdownFlexible working hoursDiscount on Pooch & Mutt productsPension schemeA supportive and energised environmentPosition:Full Time Junior CopywriterHours: 37.5 hours per weekTo apply:Please submit up to three writing samples across different channels to elle@poochandmutt.com -along with a short cover letter explaining why you think you're the right person for this job.We expect lots of interest in this role, so recommend applying early.
