As part of this journey, we are looking for a Junior Data Management Specialist to join their growing Data & AI team.This is an excellent opportunity to learn on the job, contribute to the maturity of data governance practices, and work closely with both business and IT stakeholders in a large-scale, international environment.🚀 Your roleAs a Junior Data Governance & Data Management Specialist, you will support the implementation and adoption of data management and governance practices across the organisation.You will:Support the organisation and facilitation of communities of practice (e.g. Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Product Owners)Help prepare meetings, capture outcomes and share best practices across teamsContribute to the design and implementation of data governance standards (data contracts, glossary, policies)Support the rollout of data management processes (data product lifecycle, access management, master data processes)Assist in building and maintaining the data product catalogueContribute hands-on to data quality, metadata and master/reference data management initiativesSupport project teams in applying data governance principles in real use casesCollaborate with a wide range of stakeholders (data engineers, analysts, architects, business users, etc.)Ensure clear and structured documentation, standards and ways of workingHelp create communication and training materials to support data adoption across the organisationContribute to building a culture of data excellence and continuous improvementYou will grow into the role with increasing ownership over time.🎯 Your profileWe are looking for an early-career data professional with strong motivation to grow in data governance and management.You:Hold a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Data, Analytics or a related fieldHave initial experience or strong academic exposure to data governance, data management or analyticsHave an interest in data quality, metadata management and master/reference dataIdeally have exposure to data governance tools (e.g. data catalog tools like Purview or similar)Have a structured and analytical mindsetCommunicate clearly and enjoy working with both business and technical stakeholdersAre proactive, organised and eager to learnEnjoy working in a cross-functional, international environmentAre fluent in EnglishInterest in data product thinking or industrial/technical environments is a plus.🌱 What you gainA strong learning curve in Data Governance & Data ManagementExposure to large-scale Data & AI transformationWork in a leading international industrial environmentCollaboration with senior stakeholders and data expertsClear growth path towards Data Governance, Data Management or Data Product roles📩 Interested?Send your CV or reach out for a confidential conversation.
