Our products are designed in house and made by a small number of suppliers and artisans around the world to sustainable standards.We are a brand embarking on a very exciting plan and we are seeking new members of the team who want to contribute to this.THE ROLEAs a Junior Denim Designer you will be responsible for supporting the creation of our products in line with the brand strategic design brief, the commercial and aesthetic needs of our Brand. Junior Designers are passionate brand advocates with an aptitude for creating beautiful ranges, designing aspirational and captivating pieces and collections for AllSaints, alongside other duties.You share our passion for fashion! We look for individuals who can act as a brand ambassador and who are believers in the power of an amazing outfit. You’ll have experience at an assistant designer or senior assistant designer level. You’ll have the ability to work cross functionally with other teams and have great passion for our products.. Day to day you will play a pivotal role in designing aspirational and captivating pieces and collections for AllSaints, alongside other duties.About The TeamThe Design department is the epicentre of our DNA and influences every part of our brand. We play a key role in setting the tone and direction of the brand visually, commercially and ensure that our customers receive the product they desire.What You’ll Be Doing (key Responsibilities)Collaborating with Designers to support the design and conception to production from our denim categoryCreate mood boards, draft sketches, using trend research, competitive shops and catwalk inspirationConfidently produce style boards, taking ideas from concept through to tech and sourcing packsSource and place sample orders of raw materials.Issuing of all styles with specs/swatches/layouts etc.Researching, development, and design, including identifying key shapes for the season, colour, fabric and building a range to suit our customer baseBuilding relationships with Suppliers and Mills, attending regular meetings with them.The Customer is Boss! Anticipating the needs of our customer, using sales data, customer profile analytics and trend research to deliver commercial product rangesYou will also work alongside the buying teams to react to sales information and present design ideas and develop products to drive the range.Reviewing the collections with the Directors and the Buying team.What We’re Looking For (skills & Qualifications)A strong commercial background working from conception through to production at an Assistant Designer or Senior Assistant Designer level on denimA degree in Fashion Design with a specialist focus on denim is preferable.Ability to work with Buying, Sales and Production.A natural at building relationships internally and externally at all levels.Collaborative in your approach when working in a team.Proven experience of working with a technical team to fit all samples through to production.Strong commercial awareness and ability to design to price point.An entrepreneurial spirit always striving to do better.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Confident drawing by hand, but also proficient with illustrator.ABOUT THE LOCATIONBased in our East London Studios in vibrant Shoreditch with perks and benefits offered from local businesses including discounts on food, shopping and health & beauty.
