This will include all related design activities including calculations, communications, models/drawings, programs, and bill of material updates through Engineering Change Notifications (ECNs).WHAT YOU WILL DO: Completes design tasks and project assignments which support field service activitiesCoordinates own tasks, including providing task status updates and recording time on each taskCreates electrical designs that meet customer specifications, technical summaries and other contract documents and ensure designs are within manufacturing abilitiesPerforms engineering calculations and analysis to ensure compliance with design criteria and all applicable regulationsCompletes controlled testing of components and installations in order to meet contractual obligations, ensure product reliability and verify component fitCompletes technical drawings and release documents in accordance with Engineering procedures and ENAs (Notices of Action)Provides Engineering support to SES (Service Engineering Support). As required, provides engineering support to Production, Quality Assurance, Customer Service Support, and other departmentsOther duties as assignedWHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:University degree or technical diploma1-3 years of experience in Electrical EngineeringHigh level of proficiency using 3D CAD softwareExperience with the design and drafting of sheet metal and welded assembliesExperience with the design and drafting of large assembliesExperience routing cables and harnesses using 3D CAD softwareHigh level of proficiency in the creation of electrical schematics and wiring diagramsHigh level of proficiency in the creation of electrical cable and harness assembliesDemonstrated ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong teamwork, problem solving and communication skillsAbility to work independently.
