Antipollution, a member of V Group, is seeking a motivated Junior Environmental Specialist to join the Licensing & Permits Department. The successful candidate will support environmental permitting and compliance activities related to the company’s facilities and projects across Greece, ensuring timely submissions, document accuracy, and regulatory alignment with environmental legislation. Role OverviewThe role involves administrative and technical support in the management, monitoring, and renewal of environmental permits. The Junior Environmental Specialist will maintain permit databases, assist with compliance reporting, and liaise with public authorities and internal departments to ensure adherence to legal and corporate environmental standards. Key ResponsibilitiesPermitting & Licensing SupportAssist in managing and monitoring environmental permits for company facilities and projects.Prepare and submit permit-related applications and documentation to public authorities.Permit Inventory ManagementMaintain and regularly update the company’s Permit Inventory.Track permit expirations, renewals, and regulatory deadlines.Compliance & DocumentationCollect and organize supporting documents for permit submissions.Review and analyze environmental permit terms and conditions.Support the preparation of internal compliance reports and audits.Field Support & ReportingParticipate in on-site inspections and environmental monitoring activities, assisting in data collection and verification.Maintain accurate records and contribute to compliance reporting and internal audits.Administrative SupportArchive and maintain electronic and physical permit files in an organized manner.Coordinate with other departments to ensure documentation completeness and accuracy. RequirementsProfessional Experience1–3 years of experience in environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, and preparation of environmental studies, ideally within the waste management or environmental sector. Academic Background & QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related discipline. Languages & Technical CapabilitiesExcellent command of English and Greek (written and spoken).Strong computer skills (MS Office); familiarity with AutoCAD or GIS software is considered an asset.Valid driving license and availability for occasional site visits.Familiarity with national and European environmental and waste management legislation would be an asset.SkillsStrong organizational and time-management skills.Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.Team-oriented with a proactive and responsible attitude.Ability to manage multiple tasks under strict deadlines. What We OfferA dynamic working environment within a leading environmental management company.Continuous professional development and training opportunities.Competitive compensation package aligned with skills and experience.Exposure to multi-site operations and complex environmental projects.Please be advised that we will only contact for an interview the candidates who meet the requirements of the job.
