Company DescriptionHektar Property Services Sdn Bhd is the property manager for Hektar REIT’s portfolio of shopping malls including Subang Parade, Mahkota Parade, Wetex Parade, Central Square, Kulim Central, and Segamat Central. We are constantly seeking talented individuals to join our team.Key Responsibilities:Procurement Support:Assist in sourcing and procuring goods, services, and contracts in alignment with company requirements.Support in obtaining quotes from suppliers, assisting in vendor selection, and managing order placement.Maintain procurement records, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date.Cost Contract Assistance:Assist in the preparation and management of cost contracts, ensuring all terms and conditions are met.Support the tracking of contract performance, including monitoring compliance with agreed terms, pricing, and timelines.Help prepare contract renewal or extension documents and coordinate with relevant teams for updates.Vendor Communication:Communicate with suppliers and vendors to clarify requirements and resolve any procurement or contract issues.Assist in maintaining positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.Support the vendor evaluation process by gathering and reviewing performance data.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain accurate procurement and contract documentation, ensuring that all records are filed properly for future reference.Assist in preparing reports for senior management on procurement activities, cost analysis, and contract status.Compliance and Process Adherence:Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulations.Support audits and ensure that procurement and contract processes are followed correctly.Assist in streamlining procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Cross-functional Collaboration:Work closely with other teams (such as finance, legal, and operations) to ensure procurement and contract processes align with company objectives.Provide administrative support to the senior procurement team as needed.This role is designed for someone at the beginning of their career, providing them with exposure to key procurement and contract management tasks while allowing room for professional development. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.Relevant certifications in Procurement or Contract Management (e.g., CIPS, ISM) are a plus, but not mandatory.0–1 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or a related administrative role.Internship experience or any practical exposure to procurement or cost management is beneficial.Strong work ethic and a proactive approach to learning and improvement.Eagerness to develop a career in procurement and contract management.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
