Join a culture that values precision, teamwork, and continuous development—where your growth is as important as our projects’ success.About Your TeamYou’ll work within ALEC’s Planning Department, reporting to the Planning Manager and collaborating with production leads, store and procurement teams, and other site functions. Together, you’ll keep schedules aligned, records accurate, and progress measurable—helping to keep every aspect of the project on track.Your RoleAs Junior Planning Engineer, you will:Work closely with production leads to validate actual versus planned performance.Ensure proper documentation and filing of all planning-related records.Assist in identifying delays, bottlenecks, and risks to project timelines.Participate in progress meetings and capture updates and action points.Support the planning team with data entry and system updates in planning tools.Coordinate with stores and procurement teams to ensure timely material availability.Track and update daily production progress, providing inputs for reports.Assist in preparing and maintaining detailed production schedules in line with project requirements.Prepare look-ahead reports and contribute to planning updates.Monitor and report on works against subcontractor and working programmes.Undertake any other reasonable duties or responsibilities as required by your manager, aligned with the needs of the business.What We’re Looking ForQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent field.0–2 years of relevant experience in planning or project coordination.Essential Skills & CompetenciesProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Primavera P6.Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.Effective communication and coordination skills.Excellent written and verbal English skills.Willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the team.DesirableExposure to EOT claim preparation.Experience working on complex construction projects.Soft Skills That Set You ApartProactive and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.Analytical mindset with the ability to foresee challenges and offer solutions.Reliable, detail-focused, and driven by accuracy.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.Aligned with ALEC’s core values: Integrity, Courage, Reliability, Value Our People, and Innovation.What We OfferThe opportunity to work on some of the UAE’s most iconic construction projects.A collaborative and learning-focused environment.Mentorship from experienced planners and project leaders.Professional development and on-the-job learning.Full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, UAE.Ready to Build Your Future in Planning?If you’re ready to turn your technical knowledge into real-world impact and grow your career within one of the region’s leading construction companies—we’d love to hear from you.Join ALEC Building and help us plan, track, and deliver excellence on every project.Apply now and let’s build something exceptional.
