Junior Quality Assurance Engineer

About the Role:We are looking for a passionate Junior QA Engineer with hands-on experience in both manual testing and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in Selenium with Java, TestNG framework, and experience in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. You will work closely with developers, business analysts, and senior QA engineers to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on requirements.Perform functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing across different platforms.Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java and TestNG.Participate in setting up and maintaining CI/CD test pipelines in Jenkins.Collaborate with the QA and development teams to identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).Analyze test results, prepare test reports, and communicate issues effectively to the team.Contribute to improving test processes, frameworks, and best practices.Ensure test coverage for new features and enhancements.Required Skills & Qualification2–3 years of hands-on experience in QA (Manual & Automation).Strong knowledge of Selenium WebDriver with Java.Practical experience in TestNG framework (test design, annotations, parallel execution).Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD automation.Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test cases.Familiarity with defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).Good understanding of API testing (Postman/RestAssured is a plus).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
