Is responsible for executing all the product testing (lifecycles related to washing/load testing, etc…). Is also involved in quality engineer activities related to product process improvement to ensure that quality requirements are fulfilled.Key Duties and Responsibilities: Serve as the Quality resource for Product Realization activities at Arjo. Acts as the quality gatekeeper/liaison between quality engineering activities and manufacturing operations. Maintains a current and relevant understanding of Product Realization quality system requirements. Recommends changes to the Products, processes and procedures to assure compliance to ISO and other applicable standards. Assures quality system requirements are fulfilled during the product realization process, including DCRs, as needed. Participates in Design Transfer activities, including the Production Readiness process, to assure quality system needs are fulfilled. Assure DFMEA and PFMEA Risk Assessment and Mitigation processes are performed and completed as part of the Product Realization process. Assists in the development of control/inspection/sampling plans for new products that meet customer and/or PFMEA requirements. Assure validation of equipment is performed as new equipment is deployed and/or validation gaps for previously purchased equipment are identified. Conduct APQP, PPAP, or other Product Qualification processes, as determined by customer requirements.Develops and implements systems and processes for Product Realization that are in compliance with corporate policies, applicable ISO standards, and other quality requirements, regulations and guidelines. Assure current processes are reviewed when Customer Complaints and internal CAPAs identify engineering and/or design issues as root cause, and assure appropriate corrective and preventative actions are completed. Monitor for desired results. Assure that the areas of Incoming Inspection and Quarantine carry out their activities in compliance with the regulations and in accordance with the procedures established by the quality system. Comply and participate in Environmental, health & safety programs and support plant activities to enforce a safe and healthful work environment.Management May be required to support some testing to seek for solutions on customer complaints.Quality System Duties and Responsibilities: Build Quality into all aspects of work by ensuring compliance to QMS requirements. Adopt the “Beyond Compliance Quality Culture” in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements. Comply with all required Quality training at the specified interval.Knowledge/Skills/Experience: University student in a related area. 6 months to 1 year experience in a manufacturing related inspection environment or 2 years experience linked to manufacturing. Should be able to interpret and understand drawing specifications, tolerances, procedures for inspection and the application of sampling plans. Able to understand and read basic English. Basic Computer skills. Capability to use basic inspection equipment. Ability to work in a team/partnership environment. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Personal Qualities: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Be thorough and pay attention to detail. Detail oriented.
