Do Something That Moves you1. Map stakeholders, identify leverage points, establish proactive relationships with decision-makers, gate keepers and influencers in the assigned key accounts, to ensure the availability and/or strengthen current and future Ophthalmology portfolio presence in the ophthalmology accounts2. Develop an extensive knowledge base of all assigned strategic/key accounts, including their business profile, key players, competition, business processes, culture, technology footprint, compelling events, political environment and strategies.3. Build a Strategic stakeholders’ Business Plan for each assigned account, keeping it up to date on an ongoing basis and sharing its content with all cross functional team members and management as applicable.4. Co-creation of value solutions with ophthalmology key accounts and proper deployment of Bayer Pharma resources to successfully execute Bayer Key account management business model to ensure the win-win-win framework is in place to improve patient outcomes and hence satisfaction of both patient and customer5. Act as a reference to his CES colleagues on building and executing different KAM plans and value solution approach within Cross function team and Nucleus core team.6. Build and maintain up to date buying process charts of for ophthalmology products in the respective market and if necessary for each key account and further maintain and document payers mapping for market access purposes for the respective indications in the country.7. Understanding of the formulary inclusion process and collaborate with cross functional team to ensure the enlisting of new ophthalmology products within the agreed timeline.8. Well knowledge of the competitive landscape & can differentiate Bayer products through scientific based detailing with Physicians and clinical pharmacists using brand messages & marketing tools.9. Able to form and lead a cross functional team, towards achieving Bayer objectives in the key account. Work Internally with Commercial, Medical affairs, marketing, DT&EC and MAC teams also Externally with: Doctors, Pharmacists, administrative & purchasing staff in hospitals, nurses, distributors10. Adheres to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.11. Responsible for cross-functional coordination, among team members, for example, to integrate CES/KAS talks within different meeting formats (scientific lectures, Peer to Peer talks, Debate sessions, 3rd party symposia, national and regional initiated Bayer events, etc…).12. Align with necessary peers to co-invite to meetings when appropriate and as per meeting setting and format.13. Maximize customer experience by monitoring and optimizing activities, content and channels (data driven decisions) to provide the greatest value / impact to the customer.14. Support the nucleus team achieving their targets by being responsible for the financial targets in the assigned accounts.15. Ensures strong collaboration with Cross functional team to drive the implementation of tactical campaigns within a customer evolution campaign to drive movement of key customers across adoption ladder. Your Experience• University degree in pharmaceutical science. • Experience of at least 3 years within the pharmaceutical industry is a must. • Experience of at least 2 years in ophthalmology field is must. • Excellent stakeholder engagement record including partnering with TLs and institutes is required. • Strong business acumen with desired expertise in commercialization, medical and customer experience excellence • Strong scientific knowledge and ability to interpret scientific data in the therapy area she/he is assigned to. • Hands on Experience of using digital & Virtual means and tools is a must. • Able to expertly operate Bayer virtual platforms and digital tools to provide exceptional customer experience in virtual meetings and capture individual HCP level data in virtual setups. • Maintains growth mindset to work through new working models and proactively identifies areas of improvement with the new hybrid responsibilities. • Good understanding of agile ways of working is desired • Robust understanding of medico marketing strategies and tactics • Proficient in English to collaborate internally & across the broader organization enterprise is highly desired.• In accordance with country regulations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), the position of Key Account Specialist in KSA must be appointed to a Saudi national citizen Empowered to AchieveAt Bayer, we’re all about advancing life for those who work alongside us.
