Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks aimed at maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the kitchen area.As a Kitchen Steward, you will be responsible for the following:Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine and hand wash stations pot-scrubbing stationWash and disinfect kitchen areas, tables, tools, knives, and equipment using detergent, rinsing, and sanitizing chemicalsClean and mop all areas throughout the kitchenFollow all company and safety and security policies and procedures, report maintenance needs to managerQualificationsService oriented with an eye for detailTime management skills with the ability to multitask Good interpersonal skills with ability to communicate with all levels of team members Flexible and able to embrace and respond effectively to change Experience working in a commercial kitchen, preferredAbility to work a rotating roster, including nights, weekends, and public holidaysAdditional InformationYour Team And Working EnvironmentIn 1-2 sentences, introduce the team, property or office environment in a way that reflects the cultureNote: Customization may be included for any specific local or legislative requirements, such as work permitsOur Commitment To Diversity & InclusionWe are an inclusive company and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.
