Laboratory Technician - Chemistry

SLS requires a Laboratory Technician to join our Sydney (Silverwater) NATA accredited Chemical Testing Laboratory to perform testing on soil, water, and air samples in a fast-paced laboratory.We are looking for a technically oriented person with great attention to detail with at least 2 years' experience working in a laboratory setting.Your Main Responsibilities Will IncludeWeighing and preparation of samplesMaintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment and instrumentation in accordance with ISO 17025Contribution to the laboratory quality control and quality assurance systemsReporting stock levels of consumables, standards, chemicals etcSkills And Experience That Are RequiredAbility to work in team or independentlyAbility to reason and interpret with good attention to detail and clear record keepingIntermediate or higher in Microsoft Word and ExcelMust be Australian Citizen or Permanent residentAbout UsSLS is a high calibre group NATA accredited laboratory, operating in NSW and Victoria.
