The unit supports our Sales and Customer Connections teams that facilitate opportunities and quotes that convert into sales, and manage sales processes across the entire product portfolio, before being handed to our Delivery team for provisioning and deployment.At Superloop, our Business & Wholesale division is scaling rapidly across enterprise connectivity, broadband networks, and managed services. Sustaining this growth requires disciplined commercial execution, deep performance insight, and data-driven strategic decision-making.Role PurposeWe are seeking a Senior Strategy & Performance Optimisation Manager to drive commercial performance improvement, base growth, and proposition optimisation across the Business & Wholesale portfolio.Reporting directly to the Group Head of Strategy – Business & Wholesale, this role works alongside the Go-To-Market team, collaborating with cross-functional teams across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Finance to identify growth levers, close performance gaps, and translate insight into action.The ideal candidate will have consulting experience from McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or a Big 4 advisory firm (Deloitte, EY, PwC, KPMG) and will be skilled at combining strategic thinking with commercial execution. This is a hands-on strategic role where data, analytical rigour, and cross-functional influence drive measurable outcomes.Key Responsibilities Commercial & Performance OptimisationLead analytical reviews of revenue, margin, and customer performance to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.Design and execute performance improvement programs across segments and channels in partnership with Sales and Product.Develop and monitor key commercial KPIs (e.g. ARPU, churn, profitability) and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.Partner with Finance to ensure business cases and initiatives are measurable, ROI-positive, and financially sustainable. Base Management & RetentionOwn strategy and reporting for base segmentation, growth, and churn management across Business & Wholesale portfolios.Build predictive retention frameworks, working with data and analytics teams to anticipate risk and opportunity.Design and recommend proactive initiatives that improve base profitability and customer lifetime value. Proposition Design & OptimisationLead commercial design and modelling of propositions that drive acquisition, retention, or yield improvement.Continuously review product and market data to ensure propositions remain competitive and margin-accretive.Partner with GTM and Product to ensure proposition launches are commercially validated and operationally executable. Strategic Planning & ExecutionSupport the Group Head of Strategy in developing, executing, and tracking the Business & Wholesale strategic plan.Provide analytical input into pricing, product roadmap, investment prioritisation, and market development initiatives.Develop and present Segment Strategy Briefing Packs to the Executive Leadership Team (ELT) — synthesising performance insights, segment trends, and strategic priorities. Data, Reporting & InsightsLead development of commercial performance dashboards and ensure data accuracy across reporting systems.Deliver concise, insight-driven reporting to senior stakeholders highlighting key drivers of performance and opportunity.Ensure data and insights are embedded into decision-making processes across the B&W function. Cross-Functional CollaborationOperate as a strategic peer to the Head of GTM, ensuring alignment between market execution, proposition design, and commercial performance.Collaborate across Product, Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure initiatives are customer-centric and revenue-aligned.Present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders with clarity, precision, and commercial impact. Operational ExcellenceIdentify and implement continuous improvement initiatives across planning, forecasting, and performance governance.Embed best-practice frameworks for commercial review and accountability across Business & Wholesale operations.Qualifications And ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline; MBA or postgraduate qualification highly regarded.8–12 years’ experience in Strategy, Commercial Management, or Performance Improvement, ideally within telecommunications, technology, or enterprise services.Consulting experience at McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or a Big 4 advisory firm (Strategy, Deals, or Performance Improvement practice) strongly preferred.Proven ability to structure and solve complex problems, synthesise insights, and translate analysis into actionable commercial recommendations.Experience in base management, churn reduction, commercial optimisation, or proposition design.Deep understanding of telecom economics and B2B connectivity markets.Advanced financial modelling and business case development skills.Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Power BI, or similar analytics and reporting platforms.Excellent written, verbal, and executive presentation skills; strong ability to influence across senior levels.On OfferFree Home BroadbandFree Mobile SIM planFlexibility – 3 days/week in the officeLunch on Wednesdays, snacks, donuts and more!Diverse and inclusive cultureGain skills and build relationships to succeed in the telco and tech industries, at Superloop and beyond.At Superloop, we’re dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace where everyone feels safe, valued, and empowered to be who they are.
