The role involves the daily maintenance and operation of laboratory equipment, performing quality control procedures, conducting experiments, and ensuring the efficient organization of laboratory resources. The Laboratory Technician will also support teachers and students during laboratory sessions, strictly adhering to safety guidelines and operational protocols.Qualifications- Proficiency with laboratory equipment, including setup, maintenance, and calibration- Strong laboratory skills, including handling specimens, preparing materials, and conducting experiments- Experience in quality control processes and ensuring safety compliance- Sharp analytical skills to interpret results and troubleshoot technical issues- Prior experience as a Laboratory Technician or in a related scientific role- Strong organizational and communication skills- Experience working in a school environment (added advantage)- Relevant certifications or a degree in science or a related field (advantage)
