Job IntroductionPlease note - age restriction applies for this position, so candidates must be over the age of 18+ and have Valid ID24 hours per weekany 5 out of 7 days (3 Shifts 8hrs or 4 shifts 6hrs)£12.21 per hour Sodexo RewardsCheck your localtransport links here: Plan Your Journey | Traveline - SO21 2RGJob DescriptionWe’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Labourer to join our on-site team at Worthy Down Barracks, Winchester, SO21 2RG.In this varied and practical role, you’ll provide support with a wide range of general and semi-skilled tasks, both indoors and outdoors, helping to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient environment for our clients and teams.KeyResponsibilitiesCarry out general and semi-skilled tasks as directed by your line manager.Maintain work areas to a high standard of cleanliness and safety.Support the movement and setup of furniture, stores, and other equipment.Undertake minor repairs and maintenance using hand tools or power tools.Assist with outdoor duties such as cleaning external areas, clearing footpaths, or gritting during winter months.Handle waste and recycling correctly to support environmental standards.Follow all Health & Safety and COSHH procedures at all times.Attend training sessions, team briefs, and reviews to support personal and professional development.Deliver excellent customer service to colleagues, clients, and site users.EssentialWhat You’ll Need:Previous experience in a similar hands-on or facilities support role.Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Knowledge of the safe use of hand and power tools.Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures.DesirableValid CSCS card or equivalent certification.Forklift truck licence.Experience working in a military or secure environment.What We Offer On-the-job training with experienced professionals Fully funded apprenticeship qualifications Career development opportunities within Sodexo A friendly and supportive work environment Wellbeing Support – Unlimited online resources, a free health app with 24/7 virtual GP, and an Employee Assistance Programme.
