Lead Engineer/Naval ArchitectOmschrijvingTenderworks is a company, founded in 2015, that specializes in building very exclusive custom-made tenders and chase boats made of composite from 10 to 20 meters for the superyacht industry. An international team is working hard on the construction of the tenders and chase boats. Due to the growing order portfolio, we are looking for a Lead Engineer who will join the team in Warmond.The yard in Warmond is specially equipped for building these composite yachts. The tenders and chase boats are completely built up from the drawing to completion. As a Lead Engineer you are involved in the constructions of our tenders and chase boats from start to finish.You take engineering to a higher level!As a Lead Engineer/Naval Architect you provide substantive guidance to the project engineering team, you share your knowledge with the engineers to enable them to design high quality tenders/chase boats.You are responsible for a structured process of the entire construction of the boat seen from the engineering department.You ensure that parts for each boat are designed and ordered at the right time in collaboration with the Purchasing Department. You also are the owner of the master model for the weekly updates of the current projects. In addition, relationship management is an important part of your job. You are able to build a good relationship with the stakeholders of the current projects.What we ask:We are looking for someone who is professionally and organizationally strong. You are result-oriented and structured.Completed HBO or WO education in WTB, Industrial Design, Aerospace Engineering or similarGood command of the Dutch and English language (main language is English)Knowledge of Solidworks, experience in Rhino, knowledge of Autocad is an advantageProject management experienceAffinity with composite, preferably in yacht building/water sportsAvailable 40 hours a week.
