Lead Mechanical Engineer – Ireland (Contract Role)📍 On-site | Full-time | 12-month contract (to Dec 2027)⏱ Start: ASAPA major hydroelectric facility in Ireland is undertaking a significant multi-year overhaul, including major mechanical works, generator/rotor interventions, transformer refurbishment, and control system upgrades. We’re seeking an experienced Lead Mechanical Engineer to join the project team and oversee mechanical scopes from planning through execution.What You’ll DoLead mechanical work scopes and oversee EPC/mechanical contractorsEnsure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standardsSupport Inspection & Test Plans and plant modification processesDevelop technical specifications, support procurement and attend FATsWhat You Bring5+ years’ experience in the power generation industryStrong background in mechanical plant (pumps, motors, valves, turbines etc.)Experience planning and delivering major power-station overhaulsRelevant engineering qualification (Mechanical or related discipline preferred)If you're interested, please apply with an updated CV and contact number.
