Lead UX Designer

Job Title: Lead UX DesignerWe are seeking talented, curious, and collaborative individual who is eager to take on new challenges and build exceptional technology. Together with the team, you will work on complex, innovative, and exciting projects.What you will doPartner with product and engineering teams to translate business and user goals into intuitive, user-friendly designs that deliver measurable impact.Develop and uphold design standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure consistency, scalability, and efficiency across products and teams.Review and refine UI components and layouts, prioritizing improvements that strengthen design systems, enable responsive and mobile-first approaches, and elevate the overall user experience.Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring design deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and quality expectations. Build and maintain strong client relationships by deeply understanding business objectives and identifying opportunities for UX enhancements.Champion secure and ethical design by ensuring interfaces prioritize authentication, data privacy, and protection against potential vulnerabilities.Provide creative direction, mentorship, and feedback to junior designers, fostering excellence in design outputs that meet client and product needs.Nurture a culture of growth within the design team by encouraging continuous learning, constructive feedback, and professional development opportunities.What we expect5+ years of proven experience designing web and mobile applications with measurable user impact.A bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in Design, IT, or a related field.A strong portfolio showcasing expertise in interaction design, visual design, and usability best practices.Strong visual design skills with meticulous attention to detail.Deep knowledge of UX principles, accessibility standards, and design best practices.Advanced proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.Demonstrated experience collaborating with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into intuitive, user-centered solutions.Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, uncover issues through dialogue, and influence stakeholders.Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a passion for developing and growing design teams.Importantly, we are looking for someone who will live by our core values that define everything we do: Excellence, Collaboration, and Integrity.What is it like to work at Rootcode Work is a massive part of our lives, so we make sure that our work environment is a comfortable place to be around and that we have supportive colleagues to work with.
