We're currently seeking a motivated Associate Tech Lead to join our team and ensure smooth and efficient technology operations. Job Summary As an Associate Tech Lead, you will play a key role in leading and supporting the development team throughout the software delivery lifecycle. You will work closely with the Tech Leads and Product Managers to design, develop, and implement scalable and secure software solutions using .NET, ReactJS, and Azure technologies. This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise, team leadership, and project ownership. You will mentor developers, enforce coding standards and best practices, and contribute to architectural and technical decision-making. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of developers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software solutions. Collaborate with Tech Lead and Architects to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. Design, develop, and maintain high-quality applications using .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and integrate with ReactJS front-end components. Manage and review code to ensure adherence to best practices, design patterns, and maintainability standards. Oversee and contribute to the implementation of Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, ensuring efficient build and deployment processes. Guide team members in leveraging Azure cloud services such as App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure SQL Database. Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth releases and high product reliability. Participate in architectural discussions and provide inputs on scalability, performance, and security improvements. Mentor junior developers, providing technical guidance and career development support. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development and production environments. Collaborate effectively with stakeholders and clients to gather requirements, provide technical insights, and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions. Promote the use of AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot and Azure AI services to enhance coding productivity and innovation. Stay update with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. Minimum 5+ years of hands-on software development experience, with at least 2 years in leadership or mentoring capacity. Strong proficiency in .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core) and related frameworks. Experience with ReactJS or similar front-end frameworks. Proficiency in MSSQL and database design principles. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services. Practical knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and Azure DevOps tools. Strong understanding of software architecture principles and design patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architecture). Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure Developer, Azure Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer). Experience leading agile teams and familiarity with Scrum or Kanban methodologies. Exposure to AI/ML integration and AI Copilot tools in development workflows. Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. Experience in implementing automated testing frameworks and code quality tools. Why Join Expernetic? Competitive salary and performance-based growth. Opportunity to work on innovative, cloud-native solutions. Collaborative and learning-driven work culture. Exposure to cutting-edge tools and technologies including AI-powered development. Flexible working environment and supportive leadership. How to Apply Send your resume to people@expernetic.com with the subject line “Associate Tech Lead” or apply directly through LinkedIn. Location: No 29, Deal Place, Colombo 3. Be part of a team that drives technology excellence at Expernetic!
