Job Summary:The Lean Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for driving continuous improvement initiatives across the production processes by applying Lean and Six Sigma principles. The role focuses on optimizing efficiency, reducing waste, improving quality, and enhancing productivity to achieve operational excellence and cost competitiveness.Key Responsibilities:Lead and support Lean implementation projects within manufacturing areas to improve process flow, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency.Analyze current production processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop action plans for sustainable performance improvements.Facilitate Kaizen events, 5S activities, and Value Stream Mapping workshops.Monitor, measure, and report on improvement results using key performance indicators (KPIs).Standardize work processes and develop visual management tools to ensure process adherence.Train and coach employees on Lean principles, problem-solving techniques, and continuous improvement methodologies.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain) to drive operational excellence initiatives.Support cost-reduction programs and capacity improvement projects.Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards during process optimization.Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for management review and project tracking.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.2–5 years of experience in a Lean Manufacturing or Continuous Improvement role within an industrial or automotive environment.Strong knowledge of Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, SMED, VSM, TPM, Kanban, and Standard Work.Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred).Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.Proficient in MS Office and familiar with data analysis tools.Strong communication, facilitation, and team collaboration skills.
