Job Description

Our client, a Top 5 Canadian Bank, is looking to hire a Learning & Development Consultant for a 6-month contract (with potential extension or conversion to FTE). This is a hybrid position based in Toronto.Responsibilities:Assist in managing Learning & Development (L&D) projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals. Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets while monitoring progress and addressing risks or issues proactively. Utilize SharePoint for project documentation, collaboration, and communication across teams. Maintain and optimize SharePoint sites to enhance user experience, structure, and accessibility. Must-Have Skills:2–3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, with a proven ability to design and deliver impactful training programs. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, with strong instructional design and visual storytelling skills. Experience developing and managing internal training sites using SharePoint, including site structure, content organization, and user interface design. Background in Risk and Audit, with familiarity in developing training aligned with internal controls, compliance standards, and audit readiness. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, Education, or a related field. Nice-to-Have Skills:Project management experience in Learning & Development initiatives. Hands-on experience with Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) for course creation. Proficiency in Camtasia to produce instructional videos and screen recordings.
