Learning Specialist – 6-Month Contract | £350 per day (Inside IR35)Hybrid: 2 days per week ideally onsite in London Start: ASAP | 35 hours per weekJames Adams is partnering with a leading broadcaster to recruit a Learning Specialist for an initial 6-month contract.This is an exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver world-class learning solutions that support the organisation’s Academy and its commitment to continuous professional development across the UK.The RoleThe Learning Specialist will design, deliver and evaluate engaging, effective learning experiences that meet the needs of diverse audiences. Working closely with stakeholders and subject matter experts.You’ll manage projects from consultation through to delivery, maintaining oversight of learning design, content development, and supplier relationships, ensuring each programme meets objectives on time and within budget.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and deliver blended and digital learning solutions aligned to organisational goals.Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to define learning needs, objectives, and measurable business outcomes.Represent the learner throughout the process, ensuring user-centred design and testing principles underpin all outputs.Manage third-party vendors and internal teams to deliver creative, high-quality content.Oversee learning design phases, tracking milestones, actions, and communication across teams.Ensure all materials adhere to organisational standards, policies, and values.Regularly review and update content as part of continuous improvement.Manage and promote the internal training library and supplier partnerships to ensure quality and value for money.Essential Experience & SkillsProven experience in resource scheduling, delivery, and project management.Strong understanding of learning design principles and user-centred approaches.Demonstrable experience in delivering digital and blended learning programmes.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels.Analytical and pragmatic approach to solving complex problems.Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities.The OfferDay Rate: £350 per day (Inside IR35)Contract Length: 6 monthsHybrid Working: 2 days onsite in London (or other BBC offices)Start Date: ASAPIf you’re an experienced Learning Specialist who enjoys creating impactful, user-centred learning solutions within a dynamic organisation, this is a brilliant opportunity to contribute to one of the UK’s most recognisable brands.
