In this role, you’ll help attorneys stay on track, manage deadlines, and keep clients informed. You’ll play a key part in organizing cases, preparing filings, and reviewing financial records to ensure smooth operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys structure, communicates clearly, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Schedule:Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST (USA)Your Responsibilities Will Include but Are Not Limited To:Maintaining and organizing 60–70 active commercial collections casesTracking deadlines and ensuring attorneys stay aligned with case progressPreparing and e-filing simple pleadings and hearing documentsProofreading legal documents and managing calendarsCommunicating with courts and opposing counselProviding timely updates to clients on case statusCovering responsibilities for Ally when neededReviewing and analyzing financial documents (e.g., balance sheets, P&L statements, bank records)Assisting with fiduciary litigation and financial mismanagement casesWhat We’re Looking For:At least one year of experience as a legal assistant, or in a legal support role and/or related Bachelor's degree in legal studiesProficiency in digital tools (e.g., Clio, MyCase, Microsoft Office, VoIP platforms)Advanced/native-level English skills (both written and spoken)Familiarity with financial documents and basic GAAP principles is a plusAbility to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneouslyExcellent project management and organizational skillsStrong writing and proofreading abilitiesFinancial acumen and ability to interpret business recordsFriendly, proactive, and team-oriented mindsetLearner attitude with attention to detailClear communicator who asks questions and avoids assumptionsCommitted to keeping clients informed and satisfiedReliable computer setup (laptop/PC, headset, stable internet min. 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)Quiet, distraction-free remote work environmentWhat’s In It for You?
