This role will provide administrative support to lawyers across the team, and is a fantastic opportunity to join a team with ongoing training and support. You will be responsible for:general file maintenance including regular filing, opening and closing files;telephone handing for the team including answering all incoming calls;drafting of court documents and compiling of briefs;coordinating all outgoing mail to be signed, compiled and delivered;providing support to other legal assistants;maintaining Partners/lawyers’ contacts in our firm CRM InterAction, including assisting with list management on their behalf for events and communications; and other administration duties as required.About You You will ideally have the following skills and experience:minimum two years legal assistant experience;experience in a workers' compensation practice is desirable;highly organised;strong attention to detail;excellent communication skills;ability to prioritise and perform to deadlines;reliable, punctual, flexible and able to demonstrate initiative;experience in using legal billing system and client management program (eg. Aderant would be desirable but not required); and experience in using document management system (eg iManage10 would be desirable but not required).About Us Hall & Wilcox is a leading independent Australian law firm.
