Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Licensed Electrician based in Wabag, Papua New Guinea. The Licensed Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, specifically in renewable energy projects such as solar, hydro, and hybrid power systems. Responsibilities include performing electrical inspections, troubleshooting faults, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and supporting the commissioning of energy systems. The role requires collaboration with engineering teams and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion while maintaining TGEL's commitment to high-quality service delivery. Qualifications Proficiency in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair, particularly in renewable energy systemsExperience with electrical inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshootingKnowledge of safety protocols, electrical codes, and quality standardsStrong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skillsExperience in rural and remote energy project implementation is an advantageRelevant certifications or licensing as an electricianFamiliarity with solar, hydro, and hybrid power systems is highly desirable
