Newrest, a company specialising in in-flight catering (preparation of cabinloads) is looking for a line driver Supervisorto join its teams at KEFLAVIK airport, Icleand.As part of our operational team that manages theplant, you will be responsible for driving one of two automatic lines:Robotic Pick and Pack LineRobotic Tray-Set-Up LineYou will be responsible for configuring andcontrolling this production line and the operators attached to it in order toproduce meals or loads in accordance with internal processes, Food and Hygiene Safetyand Quality regulations.MissionsYou are the captain of the line, as such you are the guarantor of thequality of its production and performance:Set up lines and plan production orders to deliver them on timeOrganize and supply the production line to carry out production ordersCarry out and supervise line start-up, maintenance and shutdown sequencesManage the line during production: launch of production orders, balancingof operator stations, manage production stoppages (level 0 troubleshooting ormaintenance call)Ensure that the control plan is carried out and report process or resultdeviationsProduce the daily activity report: performance, incidents, etc. and thetransfer to the team that succeeds you.Participate in the continuous improvement process alongside the rest of theoperational team (maintenance, quality, etc.) by suggesting areas forimprovement (ergonomics, maintenance, organization, etc.)Graduated with a BTEC or with a solid experience of 3 to 5 years in asimilar position (a first experience in the agri-food sector would be ideal)Having a team spirit, being good at interpersonal skills, willing,organized, logical and methodical are the character traits sought andsignificant of success in this position.
