 J o b P u r p o s eThis role is responsible for ensuring production shop floor is actively engaged to meet daily customer demand and production schedule. The Production leader provides effective training to the assembly cell and ensures safety and quality standards are always maintained. The Production leader will assemble products by using a variety of hand and power tools, fixtures, work instructions and test equipment to perform a series of operations to correctly assemble.J o b C o n t e x tEnsures satisfactory production efficiency and productivity to comply with safety and environmental and Quality System.J o b D i m e n s i o n sThe role will be based at Lucy Factory in Thailand.K e y A c c o u n t a b i l i t i e sP r o d u c t i o n E f f i c i e n c yUnderstand your line and know your team members.Ability to setup line and fulfil job with minimal disruption.Manage and allocate colleagues to effectively perform against target.Job completion in a timely manner.Provide support to line operators and be focal point for their concerns and report to Senior Line Leader/Section Controller.To deputies for colleagues and immediate line manager in areas where trained and considered competent, in their absence.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Able to communicate, delegate, and motivate in positive and creative mannerEncouraged and Motivated line workers to meet production deadlines and goals.Maintained accurate WIP inventory reports and inventory accuracy.Assembled displays consisting of product for distribution.Ensure that team member follow company basic rule and discipline.Quality And Health & SafetyEnsure service level agreement and quality standards are adhered to at all times.Monitor waste streams in line with business goals.Ensure you team follows H&S policies and procedures.Continuous ImprovementEnsure your line adheres to 6S (make your area neat and tidy).Report reoccurring issues to Production Section HeadQ u a l i f i c a t i o n s, E x p e r i e n c e& S k i l l sAt least 3 years’ experience in production management in a reputed organization preferably switchgear industry.ERP (Microsoft, AX Dynamics preferably) exposure, MS office toolsWork with supervisor and other team leads to manage and prioritize staffing assignments to ensure customer demand and the production schedule are met.Execute and coordinate employee training to ensure that procedures are followed and meet all quality requirements.Use basic problem-solving skills to ensure stable operation of the work cell.Report problems or concerns with quality, processes, equipment, materials and labour to Production section head.Work closely with support staff such as Technicians, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Supervisor, Materials /Warehouse to resolve issues.Observe, maintain, coordinate and complete standard work.Complete lot acceptance activities for assigned assembly shop floorUpdate production metrics and facilitate regular team communication.Identify and support continuous improvement efforts with Production section head.Sustain and drive lean manufacturing and 5S activities.Participate as an active member of the production assembly team and assembles products.Follow documented policies and procedures as designated by the company’s QualityComplete required documentation relating to business or regulatory requirements.Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functionsB e h a v i o u r a l C o m p e t e n c i e sStrong leadership skills, motivational, support and assertiveCommunicating effectively in written and oral formFair English communication skills along with proficiency in Thai language.Conducting more than one tasksAbility to analyse, prioritize, identified and action solutions.Must be proactive, a team player with excellent leadership capabilities.
