At C&N, we’re seeking a Loan Support Specialist I to join our team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in helping our commercial lenders build and maintain strong client relationships. From processing loan documents and assisting with client onboarding to supporting internal team coordination, you’ll help keep our lending operations running smoothly.If you enjoy working behind the scenes to make a meaningful impact, have strong communication skills, and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect fit for you.You will be responsible for:Client Support: Provide exceptional service to internal and external clients by assisting with loan payments, line of credit advances, wire requests, and account maintenance. Serve as a trusted point of contact for new and existing commercial lending customers. Loan Processing: Prepare, review, and distribute loan documentation with accuracy and attention to detail. Work closely with lenders and internal departments to ensure loans are processed efficiently and comply with regulatory requirements. Administrative Coordination: Manage a variety of administrative tasks such as gathering financial statements, monitoring rate modifications, ordering appraisals, and coordinating with attorneys, title companies, and other third parties. Portfolio Maintenance: Track and manage annual reviews, document requests, UCC renewals, and letter of credit updates to keep loan records current and accurate. Event Support: Assist with organizing events, including preparing materials, coordinating logistics, gathering documentation, and supporting the team to ensure events run smoothly and professionally. Team Collaboration: Partner with commercial lenders, Loan Processing, and other departments to ensure a seamless client experience. Maintain consistent communication to support timely loan closings and ongoing relationship management. Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrate professionalism and responsiveness while upholding C&N’s Customer Service Standards in every interaction. Requirements:Education & Experience – You will need a High School Diploma or GED AND 0–2 years of experience in commercial lending support, plus 2–4 years of experience in customer service or administrative work preferred OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.Skills – You should possess well-developed abilities and a proven track record in the following areas:Strong communication and active listening skills. Excellent research, organization, and multitasking abilities. High attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products. Understanding of loan systems and general banking operations preferred.
