Logistics Coordinator

Akkodis is seeking a Logistics Coordinator for a contract-to-hire position with a client in Carson, California. This role will work Monday to Friday, 2:30pm-11pm.*** No Corp-to-Corp; No C2C; No Referrals from C2C ***Rate Range: $22.00/hour to $23.00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.Logistics Coordinator job responsibilities include:Coordinate sales and work orders internally and externally.Retrieve invoices and necessary paperwork from customers.Ensure timely processing of orders to meet goals.Liaise between purchasing, production planning, and quality teams.Resolve work order, purchase order, and inventory issues.Expedite part shortages and prioritize orders using MRP/backlog reports.Release manufacturing orders and handle logistics transactions (e.g., bill of lading, commercial invoices).Track orders and ensure accurate system transactions to meet on-time delivery (OTD) goals.Monitor departmental KPIs.Participate in cross-functional process improvement teams.Qualifications:3+ years in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of MRP/ERP systems and order generation logic.Familiarity with supply chain operations: planning, inventory control, purchasing, shipping/receiving.Understanding of AS9100 or ISO9001 standards.Strong organizational and initiative-taking skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office equipment.This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
