Logistics Specialist

Job Title: Logistics SpecialistLocation: DubaiAbout the Role:Adecco is hiring a Logistics Specialist to support overall logistics operations, ensuring process execution, adherence, and standardization. The role involves managing shipments, coordinating with carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders, and ensuring timely delivery while following company policies and EHS guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Route freight from pickup to delivery locations, managing availability of materials, goods, or products.Interact with logistics teams, approved carriers, brokers, and freight forwarders to obtain required information and documentation for customs clearance (import/export).Monitor and approve freight charges to identify process behaviors and ensure conformance to routing instructions and service levels.Send RFQs for spot quotes to relevant LSPs when contracted rates cannot be applied.Track shipments to ensure visibility, accountability, and on-time delivery; support good receipt and revenue tracking.Follow EHS directives, execute mandatory training, and report incidents or near misses.Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or Supply Chain Management.1–3 years of logistics experience in engineering, construction, or manufacturing.Preferred Qualifications:Problem-solving skills, ability to work under tight timelines, multi-tasking, and exception-based management.Strong understanding of supply chain, transportation planning, KPIs, and organizational structures.Excellent communication skills with stakeholders, warehouses, and logistics providers.Ability to work in multicultural environments and handle ambiguity.#LogisticsSpecialist #LogisticsJobs #SupplyChainJobs #DubaiJobs #UAEJobs #HiringNow #AdeccoHiring #LogisticsCareers #SupplyChainManagement #FreightForwarding #TransportationJobs #OperationsJobs #IndustrialEngineering #ManufacturingJobs #ConstructionJobs #HiringInDubai #ApplyNow #JobOpportunity #LogisticsOperations #SupplyChainProfessionals
