We embrace inclusiveness in our workplace, so we can utilize each person’s talents and strengths.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for producing/manufacturing corrugated products in an accurate and timely fashion.Ensure finished goods are packaged and tagged accurately to be ready for shippingOperate machines such as a large laminator, small bandsaw and pallet jack to move materialsEnsure processes and systems are being followed properly and that paperwork is filled out accordingly, accurately and forwarded on timeComplete orders on time and maintain our 99% on-time delivery goalResponsible for the quality of products manufacturedEnsure that all equipment is operating properly and inform appropriate personnel of any problemsCount inventory as requiredMake samples as requiredQualifications And SkillsEffective communication skills and ability to follow written instructionsAbility to work well with people in a team environmentStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailMinimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environmentDesire to learn and succeedGood organization skills and reliable work habitsBasic computer skills and ability to follow written instructionsPrevious machine operating experience is preferredCapable of lifting up to 50 pounds, as this position requires lifting, bending and moderate physical exertionGLBC is fully committed to two things – our employees and our customers.
