Job Description

DescriptionResponsibility for overall maintenance of equipment.Test Maintenance TechniciansMinimum certificate in engineering discipline or equivalent relevant qualification (NFQ Level 6). The role is to maintain test equipment, troubleshoot hardware and software for test platforms like AOI (Automatic Optical Inspection), ICT (In Circuit Test), functional test, automatic assembly and automatic packing and implement process improvements. The Technician is fully responsible to support the production / manufacturing area in order to meet productivity and efficiency targets.Maintenance TechniciansMinimum certificate in engineering discipline or equivalent relevant qualification (NFQ Level 6). The role is to provide production support to achieve KPI`s (Key Performance Indicators) by monitoring machines / equipment, diagnose and repair of machine failure and to follow maintenance plans to ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard. Individual must be able to promote safe working environment and have ability to work on electro-mechanical systems. Knowledge of pneumatics, computer/ PLC’s control, Servo Motor Drives, Vision systems and SAP would be an advantage. Working knowledge of maximising equipment up time, Lean principles, JIT (Just In Time) and MTBF (Mean Time Between Failure) / MTTR (Mean Time To Repair) would be beneficial.Main Duties:To maintain, troubleshoot and improve both ICT and functional test equipment and processes.Test hardware maintenance and optimisation.Failure rate elimination.Manufacturing process improvements initiatives based on test failure data.Full production support to meet productivity and efficiency.Responsibility for environmental issues within your area and ensure you are working towardsCompany environmental targets..Responsibility of your own Health & Safety and that of others that you may be in contact withRequirements & Skills:Cert/Diploma in Engineering (Minimum NFQ Level 6) in Electronic/ElectricalExperience in Electronic Manufacturing in a test environmentKnowledge in test equipment, PC's and basic programming language - ICTA flexible and highly motivated individual with initiative.
