Job Description

Responsibilities:Monitor Financial Transactions: Continuously track and assess both fiat and digital currency transactions to identify potential risks and compliance issues. Utilize advanced analytics tools to scrutinize transaction flows for any irregularities.Analyze Transaction Data: Evaluate transaction data, customer profiles, and related information to detect suspicious patterns, anomalies, or trends that may indicate fraudulent activity. Employ data visualization and reporting techniques to illustrate findings.Investigate Suspicious Activity: Conduct thorough investigations into identified suspicious activities, documenting findings in detail. Prepare reports for the compliance team and escalate high-risk cases for further examination.Conduct Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD): Implement EDD protocols, KYT and perform Level 2 investigations for complex cases involving high-risk customers or unusual transaction behaviors.Support Compliance Efforts: Collaborate with the Compliance team to ensure effective management of risks. Participate in brainstorming sessions to update the Operations Manual and support ongoing compliance training initiatives.Operational Efficiency Improvements: Assess existing workflows related to transaction monitoring and provide actionable recommendations to enhance overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and guidelines governing financial transactions and anti-money laundering (AML) practices.Ad Hoc Tasks: Assist with miscellaneous tasks assigned by supervisors, including preparing reports, conducting research, and supporting special projects as needed.Requirements:Degree holder or above with major in Banking and Finance, Business Administration or other related disciplinesMinimum of 6 years of relevant experience in Transactions monitoring /EDD/L2 in Banking or financial institutionsSolid experience in Transactions monitoring (both Fiat and Digital)Preferably holds SFC Type 1, 7 or 8 licence, or has strong interest in obtaining relevant licences.Knowledgeable of Microsoft software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Chinese word processingSelf-motivated, able to work independently and willing to accept challengesGood command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, including MandarinGeneral Culture and Benefits of RD TechnologiesExciting and collaborative startup environment.Give your best while having fun and grow as a person.A flat structure: your ideas get heard by the right people very quickly.Creating your own profile in the startup ecosystem.Casual dress code.Free coffee, tea, drinks and snacks daily.In-house gym facilities.Regular and fun company activities.Comprehensive Medical & Life insurance for permanent employees and their dependents.Other leaves in addition to annual leaves, e.g. marriage leave, compassionate leave.Data collected would be used for recruitment purposes only.
