The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in FIDIC and claims methodology, partnering closely with Project and Commercial teams to drive proactive risk management and timely, data-driven resolutions.Oversee and manage all claims and counterclaims arising from ongoing construction projects.Develop, implement, and maintain a structured claims-management process aligned with Amali’s governance standards.Lead pre-emptive contract administration to protect Amali’s rights and entitlements, ensuring compliance with notice provisions, timelines, and procedures.Identify potential claims early, drive timely notifications, and resolve disputes efficiently to minimize financial and reputational exposure.Perform forensic assessments of EOT claims, including causes of delay, concurrency, and entitlement.Apply recognized delay analysis methodologies (As-Planned vs As-Built, Time Impact Analysis, Windows Analysis).Prepare comprehensive reports with liability positions, exposure scenarios, and strategic recommendations for leadership.Advise Project Managers and Commercial teams on contractual interpretations, rights, and obligations under FIDIC and bespoke forms.Collaborate with QS on evaluation and agreement of contractors’ final accounts; advise management on final account position, outstanding claims, and close-out risks.Experience & SkillsBachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management; Master’s in Construction Law/Dispute Resolution is an advantage.Professional Certification: RICS, CIOB, CIArb (or equivalent) preferred.10–15 years in claims and contract management within a reputable developer, consultant, or main contractor, including 5+ years in a managerial role.Strong working knowledge of FIDIC and similar contract forms.Proficiency in delay/disruption analysis techniques.Solid understanding of construction planning, cost management, and risk assessment.Core Skills: Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and presentation skills; strong written and verbal communication; ability to manage multiple complex claims concurrently; stakeholder management with a high standard of professionalism and discretion.If you have what it takes to protect our commercial interests and help shape the future of luxury living, click Apply and be part of Amali’s journey toward creating extraordinary spaces.
