About The RoleThe Manager, Corporate Services reports directly to the HCC Executive and leads a team responsible for core corporate and organisation-wide functions These include finance, ICT systems, data and reporting and people and culture and stakeholder and community engagement support.Working closely with the Executive team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of the HCC Strategic Plan, engaging with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. You will model high-quality leadership, demonstrate strong data literacy, and build capability across the organisation through coaching, mentoring and inclusive team development.You will foster a culture that reflects the HCC's values and mission, centred on fairness, respect, integrity, learning and service.You will ensure that corporate functions actively support the HCC's purpose of supporting the consumer's voice, learning from complaints to help drive ongoing improvement in the quality of health services in Victoria.About UsAt the Victorian Department of Health we want a future where Victorians are the healthiest people in the world. The Health Complaints Commissioner (HCC) is an independent statutory officer whose role is established under the Health Complaints Act 2016. HCC staff are employees of the Department of Health (the Department) who report to the Commissioner.The HCC supports safe and ethical healthcare in Victoria by resolving complaints about health services and conducting investigations into healthcare providers who pose a serious risk to the health, safety or welfare of the public.
