You are part of that team.KEY WORKING PARAMETERSFocus, Scope, & ImpactDesign Manager’s primary focus area will be:Responsible for the development and management of our Visual Identity Systems across global, regional and local brandsMastering how Visual Identity Systems are applied to strengthen the power of the brand and brand message across all platforms and connection pointsDesigning strategies and executions that bring our Identity Systems to life through the complete consumer journey Being the guardian of our brands, protecting the integrity of the brands’ experiences while continuously driving relevance with our audiences Ensuring path to purchase (online and offline) are seamlessly integrated.Developing plans to ensure that all expressions of the brand on afore-mentioned consumer/purchase journeys remain true to the essence of the brand.Thinking analytically and creatively about the role of various forms of content in creating seamless experiencesResponsible for developing initiatives that elevate the experience of our brands, increasing the company’s transactionsPartnering with all parties (creative/content/shopper) to ensure brand design on specific content is coherent and the experience is flawless across any brand touchpointBalance creative integrity with business objectives, managing timelines, agency partners, venders, cross-functional teams and suppliers to meet tasksWork extensively with colleagues and agency partners to influence and inspire through designKEY SUCCESS PARAMETERSExperienceVIS, packaging, brand and digital design competencyDesign strategy and executional excellence Direct experience with design strategy, briefing, planning, project management, development, layout, graphics, art direction and brandingPreference for experience working in or partnering with design/brand agenciesPreference for design experience across multiple expressions (e-commerce/shopper marketing/packaging/brand building)Work FocusAbility to capture strategic intents, write clear compelling briefs, guide and provide input to creative development at OU level, and design strategies at global levelAbility to lead and integrate brand experience across multiple touch points Good understanding of the marketplace, culture, beverage industry, youth culture and Greater China.Expertise in working with different external partners (i.e. creative agencies, design/digital agencies, production companies)Design thinking capabilityAbility to work in Agile cross-functional teams Ability to project manage (ability to write briefs, provide constructive valuable feedback, manage timelines, budgets and deadlines)Communication FocusRole will require frequent communication with OU Design Lead and extended Team, OU IMX Team, Global Design Team, OU Marketing Team, and cross-functional teamsRole will also interact frequently with external parties, particularly design, creative and digital agenciesAbility to inspire, motivate and clearly articulate ideas, suggestions and feedback on design.Be a go-to source for knowledge, inspiration and problem-solving abilities for design, as an open and willing team-player. REQUIREMENT & QUALIFICATIONBachelor DegreeExperience working in a similar corporate organization, with design as a key output or;Experience in a Design/brand agency with account servicing, project management or strategic roleAbility to develop and work with partners to build design strategies from which excellent design solutions are deliveredMust have great communication skills and be able to work under pressure and within tight deadlinesAbility to multi-task across varying projects, be team player, independent and self-driven Extremely passionate about design and brand buildingSkillsPhotography; Relationship Building; Strategic Thinking; Visual Design; User Experience (UX) Design; Graphic Design; Creative Briefs; Waterfall Model; Arts Education; Adobe Illustrator; Visual Graphics (Inactive); Adobe Photoshop; UI UX (Inactive); Storyboards; Motion Graphics; Creative Directing; Creative Design; Agency ManagementAnnual Incentive Reference Value Percentage:15Annual Incentive reference value is a market-based competitive value for your role.
