The job incumbent will be expected to successfully build a robust Global Brand portfolio in the market, in conjunction with the Global Brands and Asia Regional Marketing teams, through excellent in-market execution in alignment with the business ambitions. The initial focus will be on driving further growth of the Global Brands portfolio in the market; however, it will also identify new opportunities to introduce brands over time. The position holder will also be responsible for synthesizing and leveraging Global and Regional best practice marketing approaches to ensure delivery against business objectives, as well as for implementing the right tools to build brand equity, drive brand advocacy, increase rates of sale, and ultimately capture market share value. The position holder will leverage global brand guidelines and annual plans to structure activations and trade selling stories for the brand portfolio and channels, ensuring fit-for-purpose executional materials for the mainland China market. It plays a key role in identifying and integrating market insights to enhance strategies, and then feeds these insights back to Asia to improve overall market-facing outputs. The job holder will be based in Shanghai with key responsibilities as follows:Take accountability for the Marketing strategy for the mainland China market aligned to Asahi marketing philosophy and best practice;Co-develop multiple-year Integrated Business Plan (MTP) for China; Spearhead the portfolio strategy in the MTP; lead all China-specific NPD initiatives from planning to execution, supported by insights and data.Lead the strategized and localized Integrated Activity Plan (IAP), following the Global Brand Development Plans and Asia Regional Marketing direction.Lead local market communication strategies (media, digital, and social) to become No. 1 or 2 premium brands in the market,Drive brand awareness, engagement, and transactions across the ecosystem channel, leveraging earned and paid influencers to maximize reach and engagement. Ensure the optimal amplification and cascade of winning content to trade activation, and lead CRM initiatives in the market in the long run to improve KPIs.Lead the deployment of all ATL, TTL, and BTL activation calendars across brands with execution excellence.Set metrics within the global brand performance framework and manage the performance of all consumer activation, including but not limited to media and digital/social, brand health tracking, PR, and consumer promotion.Gather customer and consumer market intelligence and insights to leverage opportunities in the market.Collaborate closely with the Sales teams, regularly evaluate and document the success of activations, and give structured feedback to the immediate marketing team and external agencies to improve activations, drive brand development, and innovation.Deliver product training for Sales teams, support them with tools and pitching documents to – 1) win new distribution points (sales stories), 2) how to activate in-outlet based on best practice execution standards.Coach, mentor, and develop the team to continuously improve performance and deliver the Company's mission and values. 4) We might be a potential match if you are/have:Bachelor's degree or above, major in Marketing, Business Administration, or other related majors; an MBA/EMBA diploma is a plus.Strong strategic and creative marketing skills, strong numerical and analytical skills;Minimum 15 years of consumer marketing experience with 5 years in a senior management role in mainland China, leading a sizable team, preferably with prior experience in the F&B or FMCG industriesSolid experience managing a portfolio of brands, with a proven track record in brand building and successful new product launches.A collaborative mindset, logical, detailed-minded, and strong stakeholder management.Proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken). 5) Other Employment Information:Let’s come together to “Make the World Shine”!
