We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and service-oriented professional to join Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams in the capacity of Manager – Event Services. Cinnamon Life is part of Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts, Sri Lanka’s largest hotel owner and operator, with a portfolio of 17 distinguished properties across Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts is a member of John Keells Holdings PLC, one of Sri Lanka’s largest listed conglomerates.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan, coordinate, and execute conferences, weddings, banquets, and special events, ensuring seamless service delivery.Lead and supervise the event services team to achieve operational excellence and guest satisfaction.Work closely with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver customized event solutions.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of events.Monitor budgets, costs, and resource allocation to maximize profitability.Drive creativity and innovation in event concepts and execution.Ensure compliance with company policies, brand standards, and statutory requirements.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.Minimum 6–8 years of experience in event services, banquets, or conference management within hotelsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to manage diverse teams.Proven experience in managing high-profile, large-scale events.A creative mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional event experiences.
