This is a fully remote, Sri Lanka-based role working US business hours, where you’ll collaborate with international stakeholders to deliver automation that drives measurable business results.Role SummaryAs the Power Automate & RPA Solutions Engineer, you’ll lead the development of automated workflows and end-to-end process improvements across diverse business functions.You’ll analyze business requirements, design robust automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate, and ensure seamless integration across tools, APIs, and data systems. This role combines technical development, process design, and collaboration, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAutomation Development: Design, build, and deploy Power Automate Desktop and Cloud flows to automate and optimize business processes.Integration & Connectivity: Develop integrations between Microsoft Power Platform, REST APIs, databases, and SaaS applications.Process Design: Translate business workflows into efficient automation logic following best practices in RPA and low-code development.Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for workflows, technical designs, and process specifications.Troubleshooting & Optimization: Monitor, maintain, and enhance automations for performance, scalability, and reliability.Collaboration: Partner with business analysts, product managers, and global technical teams to deliver automation projects aligned with client goals.Continuous Improvement: Explore opportunities to integrate AI, LLMs, and emerging automation technologies to enhance delivery.Must-Have Qualifications3+ years of hands-on experience in Power Automate or other RPA tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).Solid understanding of Power Automate Desktop flows, Cloud flows, and PowerApps.Strong experience integrating RESTful APIs, webhooks, and data services.Practical knowledge of process mapping, RPA lifecycle management, and automation best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.Proven success working in remote teams delivering client-facing automation projects.Highly proficient in written and spoken English for documentation and client communication.Nice-to-Have SkillsMicrosoft certifications in Power Platform, Power Automate, or related fields.Experience developing custom connectors and integrating with tools like n8n, Airtable, or other low-code/no-code platforms.Familiarity with Azure Functions, Power BI, Power Apps, and scripting languages (JavaScript, Python, PowerShell).Understanding of data security, authentication, and governance in Microsoft 365 environments.Prior experience supporting US-based clients in consulting, BPO, or SaaS settings.Reporting Line And Working PatternReports to: RPA or Automation Solutions LeadFully remote, Sri Lanka-based, aligned with US business hoursRegular collaboration with international product and delivery teamsWhy You’ll Love This RoleBe part of a global automation team driving digital transformation for international clients.Work fully remote with flexibility, autonomy, and exposure to advanced Microsoft technologies.Deliver impactful automation projects that enhance efficiency and innovation.Expand your skills in RPA, Power Platform, and AI-powered workflow automation.Thrive in a supportive, growth-oriented environment with competitive compensation in USD.About MagentIQAt MagentIQ, we’re building a smarter world through automation, data, and digital transformation.
