About Our Client PartnerOur client is the master developer of a landmark in Colombo, establishing a future financial, technological, and residential district that is fundamentally changing the urban landscape of South Asia. The project requires highly sophisticated marketing and communication strategies to attract global investors, high-end residents, and premium corporate tenants. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity and global visibility of the brand.Role SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – International Marketing and Communication to manage the project's brand identity, communication strategy, and external relations on a global scale. Based in Colombo, this role is responsible for creating compelling marketing content, managing international media relationships, and ensuring all communications effectively support the project's strategic goals of investment promotion and real estate sales.Key ResponsibilitiesBrand Strategy and Global PositioningManage and protect the overall brand identity and messaging of the project, ensuring consistency across all international touchpoints and marketing materials.Develop a comprehensive global content strategy (print, digital, video) that articulates the SEZ's unique value proposition—tax incentives, lifestyle, infrastructure, and strategic location.Collaborate with creative agencies to produce high-impact marketing collateral, videos, and virtual tours targeting international investors and luxury property buyers.International Communication and Media RelationsLead media relations and PR efforts internationally, coordinating interviews, issuing press releases, and managing communications during potential crises or high-profile announcements.Serve as a key spokesperson for the company, crafting clear and compelling messages for various audiences, including international media, governments, and industry analysts.Manage and execute digital communication channels (corporate website, LinkedIn, and international news platforms) to maximize reach and credibility.Marketing Support for Commercial TeamsWork directly with the Investment Promotion and Real Estate Sales teams (including the India market team) to develop customized sales enablement tools, investor presentations, and roadshow materials.Plan and execute participation in major international real estate and investment exhibitions, conferences, and exclusive investor events.Oversee the development and management of the project's corporate gifting and high-end promotional activities.Reporting and Budget ManagementTrack, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of international marketing campaigns and PR initiatives, measuring impact on brand sentiment, media reach, and lead generation.Manage the marketing and communication budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources across digital, PR, and event initiatives.RequirementsExperience: Typically 7+ years of experience in Marketing, Corporate Communications, or Public Relations, with at least 2 years focused on international or global markets. Experience within the Real Estate, Finance, or large-scale Infrastructure sectors is highly preferred.Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory. Proven expertise in digital marketing, PR campaign management, and content creation.Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.Attributes: Strategic thinker, highly creative, with strong political and cultural sensitivity needed to manage communications across different international jurisdictions. Proven ability to work under high pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
