Job DescriptionDuties & ResponsibilitiesLogisticsPrimary point of contact for Logistics and distribution for Masimo JapanCoordinate with International Customer Service, Global Logistics, express shipping services, freight Forwarders and 3rd party warehouse teams for order release & shipment Manage 3PL stocking receipts, management of order fulfillment, monitoring shipment transit, customs clearance, warehouse processing and final delivery to customersThorough understanding of policies and procedures, ensuring compliance on shipment & customer deliveryManaging & monitoring performance of third party Logistics service providerOversees Inventory Management, product traceability. Labeling, import controls and adherence to local regulationsProforma Invoice generation and submissionOversee and review shipping documents.Coordinate with Clearing Agents for shipment clearance Ensuring timely customs clearance & delivery of inbound shipments to end customers Management and oversite of third party billing verification and delivery to commitmentOversight of 3PL inventory reporting and internal ERP alignmentEnsure shipments are processed and tracked in alignment with customer expectationsReview and adjust regional logistics process to support local demand and improved efficiencyEnsure required shipping documents and valuation are properly prepared Minimum QualificationsMinimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience: 5+ years of experience in customer service of operational logistics, import/export and customs expertise, forecasting, inventory management, supply chain management, logistics and/or materials management is required. Cross-functional experience in a global team environment, Sales Operations functions, including Reporting, Analytics3+ years of experience with data management, business analysis, and finance reportStrong project management skills, with proven success influencing clients, customers, and team membersDemonstrated ability to translate business requirements into innovative solutions Strong client service skills Excellent communication skills – written, oral, and presentationFluent in English and Japanese (verbal and written)Proficient in MS Office especially Excel, PowerPoint and Word.Knowledge of clerical practices and proceduresKnowledge of business and management principlesFlexibility, reliability and the ability to work under pressurePreferred QualificationsDemonstrated experience in a self-directed environmentSound decision making capability and conviction to directionAdvanced education and experience in a related field Presence and leadership to drive team performance Experience working in multi-national organization across multiple time zones EducationBachelor’s degree requiredAdditional InformationOccasional (international) travel may be requiredPhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentThis position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.The physical demands of the position described herein are essential functions of the job and employees must be able to successfully perform these tasks for extended periods.
