Manager Sourcing - Grocery

JOB DESCRIPTIONOwns supplier acquisition/ management for the cityEnsure product availability and selection depth.Identify, onboard, and develop suppliers aligned with category needs.Negotiate pricing, stock intensity, supply timelines to drive competitiveness.Monitor supplier performance (fulfilment rates, cancellations, quality issues).Resolve supply bottlenecks and work with demand lead for city balance.Build strong supplier relationships to drive loyalty and retention.Coordinate with demand generation strategy for the city to meet GMV, transacting buyer base and order targets.Monitor and drive customer base growth through engagements with ground team. Digital campaigns, field activations, strategic sourcing partnerships, and seller level BTL activities.Analyse buyer cohorts, buyer behaviour, order trends, and market insights to improve demand pipeline.Monitor daily metrics (Qty sold, daily active buyers, Assortment freshness, Price competitiveness, Stock intensity) and take corrective action.Work closely with demand and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations.REQUIREMENTSWe are looking for leaders at all levels who have the hunger to work with some of the smartest people, who are driven by a sense of purpose, and who wish to leave a legacy in their respective domains and among their professional fraternity. Result oriented approach and a sense of independence, entrepreneurship and self-motivation.Well-developed interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships across functions within the organization.Problem Solving and decision making attitude.Strong attitude to be a team player.
